| This work finds its origin in a coincidental meeting with the Georgian boxing team in Istanbul, Turkey, April 2005. I spent 3 weeks living and traveling with the key actors in the Georgian boxing scene. Photos were made in Tbilisi, Variani, Poti and Batumi at the Black Sea coast, Tsageri and the Lechkhumi region in the Caucasus Mountains. |
